Leave A Lasting Impact

Unlike Zakat, Sadaqah can be given at anytime in any amount. But what’s unique about giving Sadaqah is that it can be a continuous act of charity and source of blessing in this life and in the hereafter. This is called Sadaqah Jariyah.

Your Sadaqah donation goes towards building sustainable and long-term development humanitarian programs around the world to lift the needy out of poverty. Your generosity today can not only satisfy the immediate needs of the impoverished today, tomorrow and for generations to come, but can also be your Sadaqah Jariyah.

Human Concern International’s projects range from providing sustainable water solutions that give people clean water day after day, to sending a child to school to change their future, to supporting an orphan until adulthood with the basic necessities of life.

Your Sadaqah Jariyah is impactful, life changing, and Prophetic. Join us in our efforts of working for a better world.

“When a person passes away, their good deeds will also come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for them” – Muhammad (P.B.U.H)

At HCI we support numerous projects through Sadaqah, and when you donate, we can do the following:

an interest free loan is an excellent solution to helping poor families start a small business and building an income. When a widow receives a loan from HCI, she is able to start her own business, earn a living, support her children, and earn you the immense blessings and Sadaqah Jariyah long after you pass.

Building wells

For as long as that well exists, your donation will continue to be a source of blessings for you. ‘The Messenger of Allah (saw) was asked, “Which charity is best?” He replied, “[Providing] water”’. Your support will ensure communities are receiving fresh, clean water.

The International Labour Organization (ILO) estimates that over 64 million youth aged 15-24 are unemployed around the world. The issue appears to be more prevalent in developing countries, and is related to the mismatch between the skills that the youth have, versus what the market demands. Our livelihood programs aim to empower youth and adults by equipping them with skills and connecting them with job opportunities. Our goal is to help communities increase their socioeconomic status and overall quality of life.

In 2019, you helped train and provide employment for 2,020 youth and adults.

Our aim is to alleviate the suffering of afflicted and impoverished people by providing children with an education that will make it possible for them to raise their families out of poverty. We support the building of schools and provide equipment and school supplies so children are able to study and learn in a clean and safe environment. In 2019, with your support, we were able to provide free education to 7,819 kids.

We spend our lives accumulating wealth and enjoying its blessing. There is blessing in wealth even after we pass. Leaving a legacy behind in the form of Sadaqah Jariyah helps us continue our good work in alleviating the pain and suffering of vulnerable communities, from crisis to sustainability.
