Sadaqah

At HCI we support numerous projects through Sadaqah, and when you donate, we can do the following:

Microfinance

an interest free loan is an excellent solution to helping poor families start a small business and building an income. When a widow receives a loan from HCI, she is able to start her own business, earn a living, support her children, and earn you the immense blessings and Sadaqah Jariyah long after you pass.

Building wells

For as long as that well exists, your donation will continue to be a source of blessings for you. ‘The Messenger of Allah (saw) was asked, “Which charity is best?” He replied, “[Providing] water”’. Your support will ensure communities are receiving fresh, clean water.

Livelihood

The International Labour Organization (ILO) estimates that over 64 million youth aged 15-24 are unemployed around the world. The issue appears to be more prevalent in developing countries, and is related to the mismatch between the skills that the youth have, versus what the market demands. Our livelihood programs aim to empower youth and adults by equipping them with skills and connecting them with job opportunities. Our goal is to help communities increase their socioeconomic status and overall quality of life.

In 2019, you helped train and provide employment for 2,020 youth and adults.

Education

Our aim is to alleviate the suffering of afflicted and impoverished people by providing children with an education that will make it possible for them to raise their families out of poverty. We support the building of schools and provide equipment and school supplies so children are able to study and learn in a clean and safe environment. In 2019, with your support, we were able to provide free education to 7,819 kids.
