Below is important information you need to know as you make your donation to Human Concern International.
Human Concern International (“HCI”) is a non-profit, non-governmental international relief and development organization organized under the laws of the Canada, with authority to operate as a foreign organization within the State of Indiana, and with an office located at 4500 Great America Pkwy Suite 100, Santa Clara, CA 95054. HCI’s EIN is 31-1719723. HCI is exempt from federal income tax under 26 U.S.C. Section 501(c)(3) and is a non-profit organization eligible to receive tax deductible donations.
When you make a donation, depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take up to 5 business days before charges appear on your bank statement.
Each donation to HCI is tax deductible to the extent allowed under applicable law and represents a contribution to HCI’s mission of alleviating poverty and suffering.
HCI is committed to providing aid in the region or program that you select. However, HCI reserves the right to reallocate your donation to another program where most needed, at the sole discretion of HCI.

DONATIONS
A portion of your donation will go towards administrative and management costs.
One-time donations will only be processed as authorized for that specific transaction.
In cases where recurring direct debit or monthly credit giving options are available, you will be given the choice to select your preferred method of giving. By selecting recurring donation options, you authorize HCI to automatically transfer your gift each month from the account you provide—the transaction will appear on your checking account or credit card statement. You can increase, decrease, suspend your gift or request for the monthly date to be changed by sending an email to info.usa@humanconcern.org or calling 1-800-587-6424.
The financial institution you identify on the donation form is authorized to debit or charge your donation from the account indicated. This authority will remain in effect and we need at least 10 days’ notice to terminate this authorization. To terminate this authorization please send an email to info.usa@humanconcern.org or call 1-800-587-6424.
ZAKAT-ul-Mal : When using Credit Card to donate zakat-ul-mal, please consider adding 2% to 2.5% to your total zakat donation to cover transaction fees (charged by credit card processing companies) to ensure that your intended zakat amount is fully paid.

CHARITABLE SOLICITATION DISCLOSURE
For a copy of HCI’s latest annual report, audited financial statement or annual tax return, please send your request along with a self-addressed stamped envelope to 4500 Great America Pkwy Suite 100, Santa Clara, CA 95054.

Information filed with the attorney general concerning this charitable solicitation and the percentage of contributions received by the charity during the last reporting period that were dedicated to the charitable purpose may be obtained from the attorney general of the state of new jersey by calling (973) 504-6215 and is available on the internet at www.state.nj.us/lps/ca/charfrm.htm. Registration with the attorney general does not imply endorsement.
New York
New York residents may obtain a copy of the annual report of HCI by writing to the office of the Attorney General, Charities Bureau, 120 Broadway, New York, NY 10271.
Contributions may be tax deductible pursuant to the provisions of sec. 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, 26 U.S.C. Section 170(c).
