Human Concern USA is on the ground supporting internally displaced people who have left behind their rural towns for city centers with more support. There are more than 270,000 IDPs (internally displaced people), and the figures are rising. Men, women, children, and the elderly are in dire need of clothing, food, water, and shelter. Some need medical care due to sickness, old age, or injury.
In addition to the deteriorating national security, Afghanistan is facing its second drought in three years while also battling malnutrition in half of all children under five years of age. The reports indicate that 18 million Afghans need assistance which is about 50% of the total population. They urgently need your support.
Your donation means that Human Concern USA can offer shelter and safe haven, food packs, medical aid, female kits and access to learning centers to IDPs and provide them with the resources needed to survive these very difficult circumstances. Donate now and help protect the lives of millions of Afghani men, women, and children.
